Proactively addressing the market is an important activity within our small team, besides filling customer orders and further developing our technologies. We are pursuing a “market push” strategy or “technology marketing” using dif-ferent channels to promote our technology: customer visits, presentations at conferences and trade fairs, website presentation and last but not least this newsletter.
Past June, we ran for the first time our own booth at the SMT fair in Nuremberg. Besides that, we also took the opportunity to present our technology at a parallel conference and at different forums, which were held alongside the SMT fair. It is clear that this required quite extensive preparation, considering that it was our first independent appearance at a trade show. However, our efforts paid off! During these three days we were able to establish further customer contacts with a high potential to result in new projects. Besides the SMT fair we performed a large number of customer visits. All these activities have generated an increasing interest at our customers engineering departments. As a positive consequence we are already well booked with customer projects.
